Things to Do in Williamsburg…

Soldiers at the ready in Colonial Williamsburg

Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Passes: Each paid registrant (including guests who are officially registered for the conference) who is staying in a Conference Hotel (the Lodge or the Woodlands) will receive a free pass to the Colonial Williamsburg area. This allows admission to most of the colonial buildings, events, and attractions. Guests who are not registered for the conference and/or conferees who are not staying in a Colonial Williamsburg hotel may purchase these passes at a Colonial Williamsburg ticket booth. The conference Colonial Williamsburg pass will be good for up to three days before and three days after the conference.

Colonial Williamsburg is a wonderful destination for conference attendees and vacationers alike. Have a look at all the Revolutionary City has to offer at www.history.org. You'll meet the people of late 18th-century Virginia and learn about their lives, their customs, their homes, and their ambitions. You'll see the places where they lived, shopped, farmed, and charted a new course. You'll enjoy Colonial fare during our Tuesday night Groaning Board event (and any other time you want to step across the street to a tavern) and also get a glimpse of historic entertainment.

Our meeting will not be entirely colonial, though; we have an excellent speaker lined up for Sunday night's opening session and a reception with our Corporate Partners planned. We have also developed nearly one hundred excellent professional-development sessions and workshops, and we'll make sure that you are comfortable and engaged during your stay at the conference.
