How to get to the SACRAO Meeting
DIRECTIONS TO CONFERENCE HOTELS:
Williamsburg Lodge: From Interstate 64, take exit 238 onto Route 143 East. Follow Route 143 to the second traffic light and bear right onto Route 132 (Henry Street). Continue on Henry Street through the Historic Area. At the third traffic light, turn left onto Francis Street. Turn right on the second street (South England); the Lodge is immediately on the right. Woodland Hotel & Suites
From Interstate 64, take exit 238 onto Route 143 East. Follow Route 143 to the second traffic light and bear right onto Route 132. Continue on Route 132 following signs to the Visitor Center. At second left, turn onto concrete aggregate road, Route 132Y. Turn at the first left; the Woodlands Hotel & Suites is at the top of the hill. (757) 220-7960. SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM AIRPORTS:
NOTE: The hotels we are staying at do not offer a shuttle service. These must be arranged with private companies that service the area.
- We have negotiated a group discount with Tidewater Coach to provide shuttle services to and from all 3 local airports. They offer single and group rates and must be contacted at least one day in advance of your arrival. Their website has all contact and pricing information at www.tidewatercoach.com. (Some members of the executive committee have used this company in the past and were very pleased with the service.)

- Groome Transportation offers curbside transportation services from Richmond International. They are available from first-flight departure to last-flight arrival. One-way fares to Williamsburg range from $50 for one person to $136 for a van. Their phone number is 1-800-552-7911 and their website for Richmond is http://www.groometransportation.com/richmond.htm
TAXI SERVICE FROM AIRPORTS:
Rates vary from $30-$70 one-way depending on which airport you are traveling from, which taxi service you use, and how many people are in your party.

TRAIN or BUS:
Amtrak serves the Williamsburg Transportation Center with a connecting train from Washington, D.C. The center is just blocks from the Historic Area and provides car rentals, a cab stand, and Greyhound Bus connections. www.amtrak.com or call 1.800.USA.RAIL.
CAR:
Williamsburg is located midway between Richmond and Norfolk (approximately 50 miles from each city) on I-64. Parking at both hotels is free to registered guests.
