Benefits of SACRAO Membership

Membership in SACRAO helps you increase your expertise, whether you work in admissions, registration, records, data management, international education, or financial aid. Here's how SACRAO does it:

• Holds annual meeting each year in February
• Provides leadership training by strongly encouraging members to get involved
• Offers workshops on your specific needs
• Promotes program ideas
• Publishes three newsletters per year, an annual journal, and a membership directory
• Coordinates services for and with the state associations
• Functions as a supportive "friend" of AACRAO
• Fosters a friendly spirit of cooperation among its members
• Provides a regional professional network

Membership Categories
Institutional Membership: Collegiate, degree-granting institutions, accredited (or approved as a candidate for accreditation) by the appropriate regional accrediting agency [e.g. the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) or the North Central Association on Colleges and Schools (NCACS)]. The institution must also be a member or eligible for membership in its state/regional association in the SACRAO region.
Educational Agency Membership: State Educational Boards or Agencies of Higher Education in the SACRAO region.
Corporate Membership: Organizations that are not collegiate or state-related educational boards or agencies.
Associate Membership: Individuals who are not eligible for any other membership in SACRAO.
Graduate Student Membership: Graduate students interested in pursuing careers in the profession.
